Nail Files uses HOT WAX. Apparently the hotness of the wax opens up the pores.

I believe it too. The same principle when you have facial and they steam your face first.

If your pores are open then it is easy to pull the hair from the roots minimizing pain

SOME TIPS FOR BETTER RESULTS WITH WAXING:

DOs:

1. scrub the area with either sugar or salt 3 days ( not on the same day ) before it is
due for waxing to minimize ingrown hairs / bumps

2. waxing is recommended every 3-4 weeks. before getting an appointment
for your waxing, check if the hair on the area is at least 1cm.

3. if you are going to have brazilian/bikini waxing, take mefenamic acid
at least an hour before coming in to minimize the pain.

DO NOTs:

1. Do not perform waxing on yourself unless you are well trained. Leave it to the
professionals.

1. do not come for waxing if you have sunburn, if you are using any bleaching,
peeling or whitening solution on the area, if you have previous allergic reactions to
wax or any of its component. If you have allergies with other things or u are
under going or has undergone IPL, inform the staff first.

2. Do not wet the area post waxing for 8-12 hours.
